The Metrology Department of Instrument Technologies Company Limited (ITL) offers an in-demand service that includes Calibrations with certified and traceable calibration equipment. ITL also offer Metrology solutions, consultancy and general advice and information on your calibration and equipment specification needs. The Department is equipped with three (3) \u2018State of the Art\u2019, Fluke Multifunction Calibrator, Current Coils, Deadweight Tester, Low, Medium and High Precision Pressure Controller\/Indicator, Certified Reference Class Test Gauges, Agilent and Fluke 6\u00bd Digit Multimeters and 8\u00bd Digit Multimeters, Oscilloscope Calibrator (up to 200MHz), Precision Test Resistors, Resistance Decade Box, Laboratory DC Power Supply, IR Temperature Calibrators, SPRT, PRT and Thermocouple High Accuracy Reference Temperature Probes, Metrology Dry Well, Tachometer\/Stroboscope Calibrator, High Accuracy Low Pressure (Manometer) Pneumatic Transducer, Sound Level Calibrator, four (4) Torque Transducers (5 lbf.in to 2,500 lb.ft) and Certified Temperature\/Humidity Monitoring Equipment and other Accessories.<\/p>\n

    This equipment easily conforms to ISO 17025 in the areas of documentation, control and reporting. The equipment has improved accuracy, expanded ranges and additional features. Together with the accompanying equipment and\/or accessories, ITL will be able to troubleshoot, test and\/or calibrate almost any instrument in the Test and Measurement field in Trinidad, Tobago and the Caribbean. This equipment as well as the experienced and trained staff of the Lab, also allows ITL the capability of doing \u2018on-site\u2019 calibrations and performance checks not available to customers in Trinidad before. Software generated calibrations, equipment upgrades and reporting in the calibration industry now have a new benchmark. Instrument Technologies Company Limited has highly trained and qualified personnel to manage and run this division to ensure all quality assurance standards are met and maintained. It is the vision of this department to become one of this country\u2019s leading Calibration Labs with a high level of confidence, accuracy, traceability and quality and to be able to offer these properties to customers at a competitive price.<\/p>\n

    Our Calibration Lab works closely with accredited labs (TTBS, Manufacturer\u2019s Labs), which are affiliated with IAAC (Inter American Accreditation Cooperation) who are in turn a member of ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation). All major lab accreditation bodies in or out of our region and around the world are associated with ILAC. It is our goal to acquire the ISO 17025 accreditation in the near future (a process which is in progress).<\/p>\n

    ITL\u2019s goal of continuous improvement aims to have ITL\u2019s equipment certification not only acceptable in the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME), but to also have ITL\u2019s equipment certification accepted in the global market.
